OFFICIAL DA AUCTIONS, PART 2

As part of our ongoing attempt to find and offer you special, one of a kind
items
from the DA archives, we have uncovered this little treasure... It is a one
of a kind
piece of artwork painted by Doug TenNapel for the inside cover packaging of
Terry's solo project, "John Wayne." (You will remember TenNapel from his
creations "The Neverhood," "Creature Tech," "Boombots," as well as his
artwork
for a number of other DA/TST releases including "Imaginarium," "Our Personal
Favorite World Famous Hits," "Bibleland," "Random Acts & Hodgepodge" and
"When Worlds Collide: A Tribute to Daniel Amos")

Check it out at:

The artwork, which was inspired by common California sights and scenes, is
on
thick cardboard (15 inches x 20 inches) and was created with permanent black
ink
and paint. TenNapel signed the picture on one of the automobiles stuck in
traffic in
the lower right hand corner. The picture will be framed before it will be
shipped to you.

The winner will also receive a free copy of Terry's "John Wayne" on Compact
Disc!
The album includes the classic tracks "You Lay Down" and "Ten Gallon Hat"
and
eight other songs.

"an infectiously furious, gutsy rock band sound with jangly guitars,
slippery bass, big
beats, instantly memorable melodies, rich harmonies, and lots of
appropriately noisy
   bits." - The Phantom Tollbooth

"Backed by an all-star lineup that includes Mike Roe (77s), Derri
Daugherty and
Tim Chandler (DA, The Choir) and Phil Madeira.... John Wayne is an album
that
easily rewards after repeated listens." - CCM Magazine
